About This Project

There are so many children out there that are not fortunate enough to be able to have a fun holiday season.  Some are sick, some have parents out of work, some have no parents, some are homeless and the list goes on and on.  Many of them are not asking for accessories such as Nintendos and video games, but rather are asking for socks, pants, boots and other basic items that many of us take for granted each and every day.  We will be posting some letters from children and parents over the next few days and hope that we can all contribute to help make each one of their holidays special.  Below is one of the letters from a child that we plan to help this year.  Please give as much as you can to making their holiday's special.

Here is a letter written by Nicole:

Dear Santa,

I am a 27 year old young lady with a 5 year old daughter struggling to make ends meet.  I work at a retail store and don't make much.  I work pay check to pay check and it will be very hard this year to buy gifts for my daughter.  Sometimes I dont eat to feed my daughter and it hurts me to see my daughter see me so mad.

She needs clothes and she is a size 5 in pants, 6 in shirts, and coat and her shoe size is 11.  She needs a coat because she is using the one from last year which is running small on her.  SHe also loves Princess and kirchen toys and learning computers from Inotab and V-Tech.  IF possible I dont have a coat and would love one to keep warm this year.  I am a size medium.  I feel so ashamed to ask anyone for help, however my mother trues to help me when she can but she is struggling herself because my dad is 67 and not working so she is raising my 4 year old brother on her own income which she also works paycheck to paycheck.  if you can send something for my baby brother I would appreciate it because that would be a way of me saying thank you to my mother for helping me.

I will apreciate anything received and it you can't buy me or my brother anything PLEASE send somehting for my daughter so I can see that precious smile on her face this year.

God Bless You and Thank You.

Nicole
