Elena - 12 years old - dont let Sandy ruin her holiday

There are so many children out there that are not fortunate enough to be able to have a fun holiday season.  Some are sick, some have parents out of work, some have no parents, some are homeless and the list goes on and on.  Many of them are not asking for accessories such as Nintendos and video games, but rather are asking for socks, pants, boots and other basic items that many of us take for granted each and every day.  We will be posting some letters from children and parents over the next few days and hope that we can all contribute to help make each one of their holidays special.  Below is one of the letters from a child that we plan to help this year.  Please give as much as you can to making their holiday's special.

Here is a letter written by Elena:

Dear Santa,

My name is Elena.  i am 12 years old.  I love Christmas  Not only for the presents but for the people who you love 'and' you are surrounded by.  The people you dont get to see often are there.  unfortunately, this Christmas Hurricane Sandy ruined it.  my mom had to waste money on food, water, flashlights, juice and necessary items.  I was kind of upset but I hope you send me presents.  I would like sweaters, bracelets, winter berets, gloves, shoes, jeans and long sleeve shirts to keep me warm in winter.  i am a small in sweater for adult size, or a medium.  A large 14016 in kids.  i love sneakers and books.  In sneakers I am a size 7 or 7.5.  In boots I am a size 7.5 or 8.  I love the store Zara, H&M, Forever 21 and Justice.  I really love Justin Bieber.  I would love his fragrance from Macy's someday or Girlfriend Purfume or posters, stickers or maybe if you can even tickets to a concert in NY.
